Ex-Captain Dr. Mas’ud
Uddin Usmani, one of the misguided callers of recent times from the country of
Pakistan, condemned the classical book of Hadith, the Musnad of Imam Ahmad b.
Hanbal:
مسند
احمد نے نہ صرف عقیدے کو خراب کیا بلکہ شیعت کو بھی پھیلایا ہے
“Musnad
Ahmad not only corrupted aqa’id but also spread Shi’ism.” (Siwal o Jawab
p.15)
He also wrote that pictures
of the green dome upon the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina ought to be torn to shreds,
and that hanging photographs of the green dome is pure idolatry (ibid)
Regarding the controversy
of whether or not magic was effected upon the beloved Prophet ﷺ, Dr.
Mas’ud Uddin Usmani, despite his pretensions to being an uncompromising
preacher of Tawhid, wrote:
یہ بات
درست ہے کہ اللہ کے نبی پر جادو کا اپر ہوا تھا۔
“It is
true that magic was effected upon Allah’s Prophet.” (ibid, p.20)
