Sikhism is Polytheistic NOT Monotheistic

 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
والصلاة والسلام على رسوله الكريم
Many Muslims who are sympathetic to Sikhs and Sikhism are under the false impression that the latter is a monotheistic religion like Islam. The truth is Sikhism is even more polytheistic than trinitarian Christianity. While Christians believe Jesus Christ is god incarnate, the Sikhs believe that each of their ten gurus are literal incarnations of God on the Earth. This was made clear by the Sikh apologist Jagraj Singh. The latter recently died from cancer in a pathetic condition of agony immediately after having voiced his burning hatred for Islam and having the audacity to criticize our holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him & his family). In the following clip, listen to Jagraj Singh, an expert on his own religion, explain the reality of Sikhism as being a polytheistic religion which teaches that the human “gurus” were all God incarnate based on hymns (verses) from the Sikh scripture:

  1. Here are some quotes from the Guru Granth Sahib, the sacred text of the Sikhs, that Jagraj Singh quoted from to prove his doctrine that the ten Gurus are God:
jot roop har aap guroo naanak kehaayo "the embodiment of light, vaheguru himself is called guru nanak" (bhatt keerat ji, ang 1408)
nirankaar aakaar jot jag manddal kariyo "the formless lord took form, and with his light he illuminated the realms of the world" (bhatt keerat ji, ang 1395)
satgur vich aap rakhion kar pargatt aakh sunaaiaa "he has placed himself within the true guru; revealing himself, he declares this openly" (guru nanak dev ji, ang 466)
dhan guroo naanak ek tuhee nirankaar "great is guru nanak who is the one formless lord" (famous Sikh jaap/chant)
gur meree poojaa gur gobind gur meraa paarbreham gur bhagvant "I worship and adore my guru; the guru is the lord of the universe, my guru is the supreme lord god; the guru is the lord god" (guru arjan dev ji, ang 864)
gur samrath gur nirankaar gur aachaa agam apaar "the guru is all-powerful, the guru is formless; the guru is lofty, inaccessible and infinite" (guru arjan dev ji, ang 52)
