Barelwi Fatwa: Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was born on 8th Rabi ul Awwal

Worldwide, Barelwis celebrate the birthday of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم on the 12th of Rabi ul Awwal. Firstly, this is an innovation which has no proof from Quran and Sunnah, and this is following the Christians who celebrate Christmas.

However, the leader and imam of the Barelwi sect, Ahmad Reza Barelwi, issued a fatwa that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم was actually born on the 8th of Rabi ul Awwal. This means that Barelwis are celebrating on the wrong day!

Deobandi Belief: "Allah is Everywhere and in Everything!" (Hulool) معاذ الله

Recently three question were posed to the Dar ul Iftaa (Fatwa Department) of Deoband:

1. Does Allah exist everywhere?

2. Does Allah exist everywhere simultaneously?

3. Does Allah exist inside everything?

 

The Deobandi fatwa answered:

جی ہاں اللہ تعالیٰ ہرجگہ ہے۔
(۲) جی ہاں ایک ہی وقت میں ہرجگہ موجود ہے۔
(۳) اللہ تعالیٰ ہرچیز میں موجود ہے۔ یہ تمام امور قرآنی آیات سے ثابت ہیں۔

To all three questions, the Deobandi fatwa answered in the affirmative. So the Deobandi belief is that Allah exists everywhere and exists inside everything! This creed is known as Hulool (pantheism), the heresy that Allah is indwelling inside His creation, and such a belief is nothing but Shirk and Kufr!

The Deobandi belief that Allah exists everywhere is in fact inherited from the deviant Saalimiyyah sect, about which Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani wrote:

"And among their (Saalimiyyah) sayings is that Allah exists in every place (Fee Kulli Makaan), and they make no distinction in this respect between the Throne and the places other than it. And the Quran denies this, Allah says 'Ar-Rahmaan is over the Throne, firmly established' (Surah 20, Ayat #5), and Allah did not say 'established on the earth, or in the mountains, etc.'"

Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) Prayed With Hands on His Chest (Authentic Hadith)

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ , حَدَّثَنِي سِمَاكٌ , عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ هُلْبٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ :رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ , وَرَأَيْتُهُ قَالَ يَضَعُ هَذِهِ عَلَى صَدْرِهِ

Yahya bin Sa'eed from Sufyan, who reports from Simaak, from Qubaisah bin Hulb, from his father (Hulb Al-Taa'e) that he saw the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) folding his right and left hands, and he saw him place them on his CHEST.

The Muhaddith,Hamzah Ahmad Al-Zain in his Tahqeeq of Imam Ahmad's Musnad has graded the narration إسناده صحيح (it's chain is authentic).

Barelwi Blasphemy: Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) is Present When Husband-Wife Have Relations

Barelwi leader and scholar Muhammad Umar Siddiqui Icharvi writes: "It is proven that the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) is Hazir-o-Nazir (present and witnessing) when a couple are having relations." معاذ الله What a blasphemy against the noble and virtuous character of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam)!

 

Sayedina Abu Sa'eed al Khudri (radiyallahu anhu) narrates that:

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشَدَّ حَيَاءً مِنَ الْعَذْرَاءِ فِي خِدْرِهَا

The Prophet (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) was even more shy than a veiled virgin girl. (Bukhari Sharif)

Yet in opposition to this, the Barelwis believe that the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) is present and witnessing when a couple have marital relations (God forbid).

Deobandi Blasphemy: Writing Fateha with Blood or Urine is Permissible معاذ الله

Deobandi Mufti Taqi Usmani writes: "If someone has a nosebleed and with that blood he writes Fateha upon his nose and his forehead for the purpose of being cured, then that is permissible. And if he writes Fateha with urine knowing that in it there is cure for him, then this is also permissible."

 

نعوذ بالله من ذلك (We seek refuge in Allah from such a despicable blasphemy!)

Barelwi Belief: Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) is God

Barelwi leader and poet Khwaja Muhammad Yaar Fareedi wrote:

گر محمد نے محمد کو خدا مان ليا

پھر تو سمجھو کہ مسلمان ہے دغا باز نہيں

If Muhammad Yaar Fareedi believes Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) to be God

Then understand that he is a Muslim, not a fraudster

Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani Refuting Asharis: "Allah's Speech is Letters and Sound"

One of the widespread misguided sects in the Muslim world today are the Asharis, who believe that the Speech of Allah cannot be heard nor does it consist of letters, but rather the Quran is an expression or meaning, not the sounds and letters معاذ الله

Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani refutes the Asharis by name, and bring evidence from the Quran and Sunnah to prove that Allah's Speech consists of sound and letters.

Shaykh Abdul Qader Jilani's Fatwa: "Hanafiyyah One of the Misguided 72 Sects"

Shaykh Abdul Qader Jilani is widely respected as a great saint by the Sufis and Hanafis. However, he has written that the Hanafiyyah are among the seventy-two sects which are misguided and doomed to Hell, and is one of the sub-sects of the deviated Murji'ah branch.

Hanafi Fatwa: "Little Amount of Rat Urine and Stool is Exempted in Food and Clothes"

The Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم said:

عَامَّةُ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ مِنَ الْبَوْلِ ، فَاسْتَنْزِهُوا مِنَ الْبَوْلِ

"Most of the punishment of the grave is due to urine, therefore beware of urine" (Musnad al Bazaar)

According to the teachings of Islam from the Quran and Sunnah, urine is impure and must be strictly avoided. A person who did not take care to keep his garments soiled from his urine was being punished in the grave. However, according to the Hanafi jurisprudence, a small amount of urine and stool from a rat is exempted from being removed if it is mixed with food or stains someone's clothing. From this we can see how the Hanafi jurisprudence contravenes the clear guidance of Quran and Sunnah.

ولو رضيعا والذئب وبول الفأرة ينجس الماء لإمكان الاحتراز عنه لأنه يخمر ويعفى عن القليل منه ومن خرئها في الطعام والثياب للضرورة

Hanafis Admit Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam) Prayed 11 Rakat Taraweeh

In the classical Hanafi book of jurisprudence Maraqi al Falah it is mentioned

وصلاتها بالجماعة سنة كفايه لما ثبت أنه صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى بالجماعة إحدى عشرة ركعة بالوتر

Translation: And praying it (Taraweeh) in congregation is a collective Sunnah because it is proven from him (the Prophet Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) that he prayed in congregation eleven rak'at including Witr.

Hanafi Belief: "The Book 'Hidayah' is Like the Quran"

In the introduction to the classical book of Hanafi jurisprudence, it is written:

إِنَّ الهِدَايَةَ كَالقُرْآنِ قَدْ نَسَخَتْ مَا صَنَّفُوا قَبْلَهَا فِي الشَّرْع مِنْ كُتُبٍ

"Verily, the book Hidayah is like the Qur'an, it has abrogated the books of Shari'ah before it.”

On the other hand, the belief of the saved sect Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah is that there is no book which is like or comparable to the Pure and Holy Quran. It is the literal Speech and Words of our Lord and Master, Allah (Azza wa Jall)

In fact, Allah in the Quran challenges the disbelievers who allege the Quran is forged to produce a Surah which is similar to one of the Surahs (chapters) of the Quran if they are truthful (Surah #10 Ayat #38). Hanafis claim that let alone a single chapter, their entire book 'Al-Hidayah' is like the Quran!

Deobandi Belief: "Ali is Mushkil Kusha" (the Remover of Difficulty)

Deobandi leader Ashraf Ali Thanwi writes "Open the hearts to the true knowledge O my Lord, for the sake of the Guide of the World, Ali Mushkil Kusha (the Remover of Difficulty)". This is Shirk, because only Allah Alone is the One Who removes difficulty.

Rafidi Shi'ah Blasphemous Belief: Imam Ali (AS) is the Beast of the Earth

Shi'ah leader Najm ul Hassan Kararwi quoted a verse from the Pure Quran:

أَخْرَجْنَا لَهُمْ دَابَّةً مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ

We shall take out from the earth a beast for them (Surah 27 Ayat #82)

In explaining this verse, the Shi'ah scholar wrote that this beast (Daabat min al-Ardh) is in fact the noble and virtuous Imam Ali رضى الله عنه

Barelwi Kalimah: "La Elaha Illa Allah Shibli Rasoulullah"

Barelwi and Sufi leader Ghaus Ali Shah Qalandar Paanipati wrote "one day two people came to take an oath of allegiance to Shaykh Abu Bakr Shibli, who told one of them to declare,

لاَ الَـهَ اِلَّا اللهُ  شِبْلِى رَسُوْلُ اللهِ

(There is none worthy of worship except Allah. Shibli is the Messenger of Allah)".

In explaining such a shocking statement of infidelity, Ghaus Ali Shah writes, "Baat yeh thi keh jo shakhs ta'leem-o-talqeen aur hidayat-o-irshad karta hey taleb key leye wohi Rasoul aur Risalat Elahi ka kaam anjam deta hey" (The person who provides spiritual knowledge and guidance is a Messenger (Rasoul) for his student)

Sufism: Ali Hujweri's Blasphemy Against Prophet Muhammad and Prophet David (peace be upon them)

Ali Hujweri, esteemed as a great saint by the Sufis and Hanafis of the Indian subcontinent, who affectionately refer to him as 'Daata Ganj Bakhsh' معاذ الله wrote, "David عليه السلام looked at an estranged woman and he saw what he saw, and likewise the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم also looked at a woman and so she became forbidden for her husband Zaid"

Barelwi Belief: "Shaykh Abdul Qader Jilani is a Zille Nabi (Shadow Prophet)"

The leader of the Barelwi sect, Ahmad Reza Khan Barelwi, writes "Without doubt, the esteemed eminence (Abdul Qader Jilani) may Allah be pleased with him possesses the rank of shadow prophethood" Bey shak martaba aaliya rafiya huzoor per nour razi Allahu anhu zill martaba nabuwwat hey

Deobandi Belief: "Every Child, Insane and Animal Possesses Knowledge of the Unseen"

Ashraf Ali Thanwi, the leader of the Deobandi sect wrote that partial knowledge of the unseen is not exclusive to the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam), but this quality is shared by every Zaid, Amr, child, insane person and every single animal! معاذ الله
