Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the false prophet and antichrist of Qadian, stated that according to a Hadith Jesus Christ will descend from Heaven:
For example, a Hadith in Sahih Muslim wherein the words occur that when the Messiah descends from Heaven his clothing will be yellow (Ruhani Khaza’in; v.3, p.142)
There is a link between the coming of the Messiah Jesus and coming riding upon a cloud: "I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him." (Daniel 7:13) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:30; Mark 13:26; Luke 21:27) Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. (Matthew 26:64; Mark 14:62) And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. (Acts 1:9) Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1:11) Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. (Revelation 1:7)
ReplyDeleteKa'b al-Ahbar رضى الله عنه is reported to have said:
The Messiah Jesus son of Mary, peace be upon him, shall descend near the White Arch at the east of the Damascus Gate toward the trees, riding upon a cloud, placing his hands upon the shoulders of two Angels (al-Fitan of Nu'aym bin Hammad)
Abdullah bin Amr bin al-Aas رضى الله عنهما is reported to have said:
The emergence of the Dajjāl will reach those who will conquer Constantinople, so they will advance until they meet him at Jerusalem. He will have besieged 8000 women and 12,000 fighters, who are the best of those who remain, as righteous as those of the past. While they are under the mist of a cloud, suddenly the mist will be rolled away for them by the morning, and Jesus son of Mary will be in their midst. (ibid)
