Ali Hujweri, esteemed as a great saint by the Sufis and Hanafis of the Indian subcontinent, who affectionately refer to him as 'Daata Ganj Bakhsh' معاذ الله wrote, "David عليه السلام looked at an estranged woman and he saw what he saw, and likewise the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم also looked at a woman and so she became forbidden for her husband Zaid"
