Mirza Qadiani's Distortion of Hadith "Jesus will Descend from Heaven"

Salat and Salam upon you, Seal of the Prophets

The false prophet and Antichrist Mirza of Qadian would flagrantly lie upon my Master the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, and attribute fabrications to him. The Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, said,

مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

Whoever deliberately lied upon me then let him take his seat in the Fire

Mirza taught that the Messiah Jesus died and will not descend from Heaven in the End Times. On this basis he falsely claimed to be the Promised Messiah. Thus, when quoting a Hadith that says Jesus will descend from Heaven, Mirza shamelessly omitted the words “from Heaven” lest his teaching be nullified. The Hadith says:

فَعِنْدَ ذَلكَ يَنْزِلُ أَخِى عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ عَلَى ‌جَبَل ‌أَفِيقٍ إِمَامًا هَاديًا وَحَكَمًا عَادِلًا عَلَيْه بُرْنُسٌ لَهُ مَرْبُوع الْخَلْقِ أَصْلَت سَبط الشَّعْر بِيَدهِ حربَةٌ يَقْتُلُ الدَّجَّالَ فَإِذَا قَتَلَ الدَّجَالَ تَضَعُ الْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا وَكَانَ السِّلْمُ فَيَلْقَى الرَّجُلُ الأَسَدَ فَلا يُهَيجُهُ وَيَأخُذُ الْحَيَّةَ فَلا تَضُرُّهُ وَتُنْبِتُ الأَرْضُ كنَبَاتِهَا عَلَى عَهْد آدَمَ وَيُؤْمِنُ بِهِ أَهْلُ الأَرْضُ وَيَكُونُ النَّاسُ أَهْلَ ملَّةٍ وَاحدَةٍ

Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Near that will descend my brother, Jesus, son of Mary, from Heaven upon Mount Afiq as a guiding Imam and a just judge, wearing a cloak, medium stature, straight hair, in his hand a spear to kill the Dajjal. So when he kills the Dajjal the war shall lay down its burdens. There will be peace such that a man will meet a lion without him provoking it and take hold of a snake without it harming him. The Earth shall produce greenery like its greenery during the time of Adam. The people of the Earth will believe in him and the people shall be a single religion (Tarikh Dimashq, Dar ul-Fikr, v.47, p.505)

Mirza quoted the Hadith but slyly removed the words “from Heaven”:

كما يدل عليه حديث روى عن ابن عباس قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ينزل اخى عيسى بن مريم على جبل افيق اماما هاديا حكما عادلا بيده حربة يقتل به الدجال

As proven in the Hadith narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said, the Messenger of Allah, sall Allahu alayhi wasallam, said, “My brother Jesus son of Mary will descend upon Mount Afiq, a guiding Imam, just judge, in his hand a spear with which to slay the Dajjal” (Ruhani Khazain, v.7, p.314; Hamamat ul-Bushra, p.148)

Qadianis can’t reject this Hadith, or argue it is weak, since it has been approved and cited by their so-called “Promised Messiah” and [false] prophet Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in support of himself.
