Mulla Ali Qari and Metaphorical Prophethood

In refuting the Rafidah Shi'ah sect, Mulla Ali Qari mentions that they believe that each of their 12 Imams are Prophets in a real or literal sense and not in a metaphorical sense. He explains that a claim to Prophethood in a metaphorical sense (Al-Majaaziyah) does not necessitate a ruling of Unbelief (Kufr) or Innovation (Bid'ah)
Source: Sharh ash-Shifaa, Vol. 2, P. 519

Mulla Ali Qari: True Meaning of Khaatam an Nabiyyeen and Coming of Non Law Bearing Prophets

The Hanafi scholar, Mulla Ali Qari writes:Had Ibrahim (the Prophet's son)
lived and become a prophet, and had Umar also become a prophet, they would
have been prophets under the obedience of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon
him) like Jesus, Khidr, and Elias (peace be upon them). And this would not
negate the Verse “Khaatam an Nabiyyeen” (33:40) which means: 'No prophet
can come who will abrogate his Millat or not be from his Ummah'

Jihad Against British Government is Haram (Ahl-i-Hadith Fatwa)

Hadrat Maulana Muhammad Hussain sahib Batalawi (Rahmatullah Alayh) condemned severely the 1857 mutineers who rebelled against the British. He writes: “To fight against this government [i.e. British rule of India] or to aid those who fight against it, even though they be one's Muslim brothers, is clear treachery and Haram...The Muslims who took part in the 1857 rebellion were seditious sinners, and according to the Qur'an and Hadith they were rebels, mischief makers and wicked. Most of the ordinary people among them were like beasts.”
