Continuing from the previous entry, we now come to the identity of Gog and
Magog. It has been my contention that Gog and Magog are Altaic, or Turkic and
Mongolic, nations that came out from the steppes of Central Asia, spread
throughout the Earth causing corruption. For instance, Ibn Kathir رحمه الله writes:
فَيَأْجُوجُ
وَمَأْجُوجُ طَائفَةٌ مِنَ التُّرْكِ وَهُم مَغْلُ المَغُولِ
“So Yagog and Magog are a group from the Turks, and they are the
Mughal, Mongols.”
