Deoband and Qurbani (Sacrifice) of Rats

Deobandi mullah Ashraf Ali Thanwi writes about the legitimacy of sacrificing and eating rats according to his twisted understanding of Islam:

اعتراض فقط گاۓ کی قربانی کے متعلق ہے۔  چُوہے۔ بکری۔ مرغی۔ کبوتر کے متعلق نہین

"The complaint is only about the qurbani (ritual sacrifice) of the cow, not about the rat, goat, chicken, or pigeon."

**Please note that "Qurbani" is an exclusive practice and term used by Muslims only.
