Hanafi Say Amir Muawiyah (r.a.) was a Rebel from Islam



لَيْسَ الْمُرَادُ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ أَمْرٌ ابْتَدَعَهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ فِي الدِّينِ بِنَاءً عَلَى خَطَئِهِ كَالْبَغْيِ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ، وَمُحَارَبَةِ الْإِمَامِ ، وَقَتْلِ الصَّحَابَةِ

    Muawiyah was a rebel is mentioned in hadeeth books as well. All the prominent early salafi scholars believe Muawiyah to be a rebel.
