بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
والصلاة والسلام على رسوله الكريم
والعاقبة للمتقين
Once again I would like to take the opportunity to
inform my respected readers about the proximity of the appearance of the awaited
Imam, the Mahdi (peace be upon him). The pace of the motion of significant
events signifying the Mahdi’s appearance has quickened. The heartbreaking conflict
in Syria has already moved into a dangerous new phase. The evil dictator and taghut,
Bashar al-Assad, whom I have previously explained to be the cursed Sufyani
in my estimation, has for all intents and purposes, defeated the revolution
against him. The so-called rebels have been cleared out of the vicinity of
Damascus, and are currently under siege in the south of Syria, in Daraa, and
likewise in the area immediately north of Homs. The Baathist regime of Assad was
on the verge of losing this war until the Russians came to their rescue and
turned the tide. Now the rebels have regrouped in the northwest, in Idlib, and
are preparing for the coming apocalyptic battle. Apart from Russia, other
states that are heavily involved in this complex conflict include Iran, Turkey,
Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel and of course the United States. Other belligerents
besides the Baathist regime and the so-called moderate rebels include al-Qaeda
(under the names al-Nusra and then Hayat Tahrir al-Sham), the Kurds and their
YPG (the SDF backed by the United States), and the remnants of the wretched
Kharijite group known as Daesh. The biggest losers in this conflict are of
course the Syrian people. The Sunnis in particular have suffered the most. The
aim of Assad is to reduce their numbers through ethnic cleansing. Millions are
refugees, half of whom are internally displaced while the other half have been
forced to flee their own country. Hundreds of thousands of others are being
unspeakably tortured in Assad’s dungeons. Indeed, the suffering of the Syrian
people in these past seven years or thereabouts has eclipsed the oppression
faced by the Palestinians at the hands of the Zionists for the past couple of
generations manifold. How shocking and disturbing it is when one realizes the
propensity of Arabs and so-called Muslims to inflict the worst misery on their
own people which even the avowed enemies of Islam such as the Zionists and Crusaders
could never dream of. The Arabs in particular appear to be under the fiery
wrath of God for in the mid twentieth century they turned their backs on Islam
and favored various socialist, nationalist, pan-Arabist and Baathist
revolutions which quickly transformed their states into fascist dictatorships comparable
to ferocious wild beasts that rip apart their prey without mercy. It took
outside interventions by the Americans and NATO to liberate Iraq and Libya from
taghuts Saddam and Gaddafi respectively. In the case of Libya, there is a real
threat of a return to authoritarian, anti-Islamic rule in the person of Khalifa
Haftar. Coming back to Syria, the failed revolution against Assad has only made
him more ruthless, his heart has been hardened like the cursed Pharaoh who
oppressed the Bani Israel. Yet this is a sign for those who discern that the
emergence of the expected Mahdi is at hand. The purpose of the sending of the
Mahdi is for him to straighten out the crooked Arabs with the sword and
establish a regime of justice by overthrowing all the oppressors and tyrants in
the land. He is a symbol of hope and a true hero of Islam, whose coming is a
manifestation of Allah’s mercy upon this Umma. Consequently, the self-indulgent
regimes currently ruling the Arabs, especially the villainous Saudis in Riyadh,
the libertine Emiratis in Abu Dhabi, the pharaonic Egyptian military in Cairo, and
the ruthless Baathists in Damascus all tremble with fear at the thought of a
real Mahdi appearing and bringing about a purely Islamic revolution that pulverizes
them all. Perhaps other troublemakers and forces that have caused the Muslims a
lot of pain will also be punished and overthrown in the region, such as the
hypocritical mullas of Iran and the atheist Zionists of the “State of Israel”. So
it appears to me that not only has the Mahdi already been born, at present he
must be a young man living in the Hijaz, but Allah knows best. The Prophet
Muhammad (peace be upon him & his family) said:
لَا تَنْقَضِي الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى
يَمْلِكَ الْعَرَبَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي ، وَيُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي
“The world will not pass away until the Arabs are
ruled by a man of my household, whose name matches my name.” (Sunan Abi Dawud, Musnad
Ahmad)
Furthermore, he informed us that this Mahdi will
rule for a duration of seven years:
يَمْلأُ الأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلاً
كَمَا مُلِئَتْ جَوْرًا وَظُلْمًا يَمْلِكُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ
“He will fill the land with equity and justice as
it was filled with tyranny and oppression. He shall rule for seven years.”
(Sunan Abi Dawud: Kitab al-Mahdi)
The relative brevity of the expected Mahdi’s reign
signifies that absolute justice cannot be materialized in this transient world,
but rather on Judgment Day. The Mahdi’s rule is only a taste of what is to come
on Judgment Day for the disbelieving tyrants who dare to defy Heaven. It is
furthermore a culmination of the pure Islamic movement that is about attachment
to the Prophet’s household (peace be upon him & his family) that was
historically mistreated and persecuted by the wretched rulers of this Umma
until this day.
Developments in Saudi Arabia are perhaps even more
pertinent to the appearance of the Mahdi than what is currently unfolding in
Syria. Although Syria is going to be the setting of a great apocalyptic war
involving disparate powers, keep in mind that the Mahdi will emerge from Makka,
and the people shall recognize him and give him the bay’a under the
shade of the sacred Ka’ba. As the reader may be aware, Saudi Arabia is currently
going through some major changes for the worse. This movement away from
conservative Islamic values and toward moral corruption in the name of modernization
and reform is being spearheaded by the crown prince Muhammad bin Salman. His
father is the king of Saudi Arabia, but being extremely advanced in age, he may
die anytime now and be succeeded by his devilish son who is relatively young
and ambitious. It is not inconceivable that upon the death of king Salman Saudi
Arabia will be plunged into conflict with squabbles within the House of Saud
rising to the surface. Remember that the emergence of the Mahdi will be in an
atmosphere of turmoil and dissension, with the princes of the ruling family
fighting each other for the throne. Once the Mahdi has emerged with a section
of the Muslims behind him and prepared to take command of the Arab world, an
army shall attempt to assault the sacred Ka’ba from the north but it shall be
utterly destroyed while on the move in a place called Baida. Only time will
tell whether this is a counter revolutionary Saudi force or the Syrians.
