Judeo-Hindu Axis Against Islam (Surah 5:82)

 

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الصلاة والسلام عليك يا سيدي يا رسول الله

وعلى آلك واصحابك يا سيدي يا نور الله

فداك ابي وامي يا رسول الله

In the Name of Allah, the Rahman, the Merciful

Allah, Holy and Exalted is He, says:

لَتَجِدَنَّ اَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَۃً لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا الۡیَہُوۡدَ وَالَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡا ۚ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ اَقۡرَبَہُمۡ مَّوَدَّۃً لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا نَصٰرٰی

You shall certainly find the Jews and those who commit Shirk to be the most vehement of men in enmity against the Believers. And you shall assuredly find the closest of them in love to those that believe are those that say ‘We are Christians’

(Surah 5 Ayah 82)

Allah said the truth! Presently, the open hostility which the Jews and Hindus have toward Islam and the Muslims isn’t hidden from anyone except one who is deaf, dumb and blind. That these two have forged an unholy union with the purpose of sandwiching and weakening the Muslims that separate them geographically is a development that should concern us. And this intensifying friendship between two implacable foes of the Muslims is a consequence of both turning toward a more right-wing and bigoted tendency. For the Jews that is religious Zionism, under the leadership of Netanyahu, and for the Hindus that is Hindutva under the leadership of Modi. Regrettably, while the Jews and Hindus are turning to hardline, Right-Wing politics and religious bigotry, the Muslims are going in the opposite direction, toward secularism, liberalism and pluralism. That is certainly the direction the so-called “Islamic Republic” of Pakistan is headed, with much encouragement from the Saudis, Emiratis and presumably the Chinese too. So while hardline politics has only served to strengthen our enemies among the Zionists and Hindutva India, the Muslims are rapidly going soft and weak due to the politics of secular liberalism and pluralism.

It is quite noteworthy that we have much warning and discussion concerning the danger of Jewry to the Muslims in the Quran and Hadith. This is because after the triumph of the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم over the Jews at Khaybar, they remained a scattered and apparently impotent community for centuries upon centuries until they managed to establish a State in the Holy Land as recently as 1948. For instance, there are Hadith which predict the Muslims shall fight the Jews with the River Jordan being the boundary between these two communities, and that at the time when the Dajjal emerges it is the Jews that shall compose his armed forces and the Muslims will eradicate them subsequent to the descent of the Messiah Jesus عليه السلام

Therefore, the sudden rise of the Jews through Zionism and the establishment of the so-called State of Israel at the continued expense of the Muslims and the Arabs is a proof for the veracity of the Prophet Muhammad صلوات الله والسلام عليه who clearly predicted such a state of affairs, something no one could have rationally expected fifteen centuries ago.

The Ayah (5:82) under discussion makes it clear that the Jews and Polytheists are worse than the Christians, who are actually the nearest in love to the Believers (Muslims) than any other community in the world. While Muslims have historically had conflicts with the Christians too, notably during the Crusades, in general the Christians are merely a people who are misguided, and at times that misguidance leads them to a sort of zealous, violent reaction against Islam and Muslims. But Allah says about the Christians:

ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّ مِنۡہُمۡ قِسِّیۡسِیۡنَ وَرُہۡبَانًا وَّاَنَّہُمۡ لَا یَسۡتَکۡبِرُوۡنَ

That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant

(Surah 5 Ayah 82)

The characteristic of humility and sincerity is present to a significantly greater degree in the Christians than in the scheming and ruthless Jews. The Christians have an innocent like quality to them which often means they are easily duped and manipulated by the cunning Jewish lobby. While Muslims are generally more aware of the scheming and diabolical nature of the Jews, at times feeble minded elements within our own community are manipulated and brainwashed by them too. The Christian New Testament has many gems with regard to exposing the evil nature of the Jews: “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he [John the Baptizer] said unto them, O generation of vipers” (Matthew 3:7) “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?” (Matthew 23:33) “And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him” (John 5:16) “After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him” (John 7:1) “I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan” (Revelation 2:9)

That Allah mentioned the Jews before even the Polytheists as those who are most severe in hostility to the Believers is significant. In terms of theology and religion the Jews are apparently closer to the Truth than even the Christians, let alone the idolaters such as Hindus. They are classified as People of the Book, and Muslims have been permitted to marry their women and eat their food, unlike in the case of the idol-worshippers (Hindus and others). As intimated in the last Ayah of the Fateha, the Christians are misguided but what distinguishes the Jews among the galaxy of false religions is that they, more than anyone else, are under the wrath of Allah. And this divine wrath is a consequence of their arrogance, their murdering of many Prophets, their hostility to the Believers, and their constant scheming to undermine the project of Faith and Islam in this world. The truth is that the Jews worship God, in the apparent, as a matter of ancestral tradition and as a means of pronouncing their communal identity, which they are proud of. Otherwise in their hearts they hate Him and serve Satan in aligning themselves with Satan’s scheme to spread immorality and corruption in the Earth.
