بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ
Niyāz Fatihpūri (1884-1966), founder and editor of the monthly Nigar praised Mirzā Ghulām Ahmad highly, saying:
میں نے ان کو ختم رسالت کا اقرار کرنے والا اور صحیح معنی میں عاشق رسول پایا۔ اسی کے ساتھ میں نے میرزا صاحب کی زندگی کا مطالعہ کیا تو مجھے معلوم ہوا کو وہ یقینا بڑے مخلص بڑے باعمل بڑے عزم وہمت والے انسان تھے اور انہوں نے مذہب کی صحیح روح کو سمجھ کر اسلام کی وہی عملی تعلیم پیش کی جو عہد نبوی وخلفاء راشدین کے زمانہ میں پائی جاتی تھی۔
I found him to be a believer in the finality of prophethood, and a lover of the Holy Prophet in the true sense. When I studied the life of Mirza sahib, I found that he was certainly a very active, resolute and determined man. Having understood the true spirit of religion, he presented the same practical teachings of Islam as are to be found in the time of the Holy Prophet and the early Khalifas (Nigar, November 1961, p.3):
