Dear
readers, see for yourself how the Sufi saint of the Barelwis and
Chishtis, namely, Khwaja Ghulam Farid of Chachran sharif (d. 1901)
accepted the truth of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib of Qadian. In
these references, Khwaja Ghulam Farid accepted the veracity of the
claim of Mirza sahib to being the Imam Mahdi and Messiah. He
even cited some Ahadith about the signs of the Mahdi, for example,
the sign of the lunar and solar eclipses occurring during the sacred
month of Ramadan, and the sign of the Mahdi coming from a village
called "Kadi'a" similar to "Kadi'an" etc.:
