The
Deobandi mulla Khalil Ahmad Saharanpuri (1852-1927) asserted that the
Angel of Death and Satan are omnipresent (present everywhere at
everytime), while to believe the same thing about the Prophet
Muhammad (Sallallaho alaihi wasallam) results in Shirk. The question
for this ignorant mulla and his followers is if it is Shirk to
believe the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihi wasallam) is present
everywhere at everytime (which is undoubtedly Shirk), then how is it
not Shirk to believe the exact same thing about the Angel of Death
and about Satan? Furthermore, Mulla Khalil Ahmad Saharanpuri says
that Satan and Angel of Death being present everywhere is proven from
the textual sources of Islam (Quran and Hadith), but fails to prove
precisely which texts substantiate his assertion. On the contrary,
the Holy Quran makes it plain that Satan is not a single person but
there are multiple Satans
Translation:
“He (Satan) sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see
them.” [7:27]
Furthermore,
in an authentic Hadith regarding the Satans, the Prophet (Sallallaho
alaihi wasallam) said:
،
Translation:
“Iblis places his throne over the water, then he sends out his
troops, and the one who is closest in status to him is the one who
causes the greatest amount of Fitnah (tribulation or temptation). One
of them comes and says: 'I have done such and such' and he says: 'you
have not done anything' then one of them comes and says: 'I did not
leave him until I separated him and his wife.' Then he draws him
close to him and says: 'How good you are
Sahih
Muslim; Hadith #7106
With
respect to the Angel of Death Azrael (peace be upon him) he too has
helpers in the form of other Angels which are divided into two
categories, one category assigned to take the souls of the believers
(known as Angels of mercy) and another category assigned to take the
souls of the unbelievers (known as the Angels of torment). For
example Allah (Azza wa Jall) says:
Translation:
If you could see when the wicked people are in the throes of death
and the Angels stretch forth their hands (saying): Yield up your
souls [6:93
Thus
we see that no one, neither an Angel nor any Satan, shares in Allah's
Attribute of seeing everything and being present everywhere (by means
of His Power, Knowledge, and Encompassing Vision). However, Mulla
Khalil Ahmad Saharanpuri has assigned these attributes to both Satan
and the Angel of Death thereby committing Shirk according to his own
principle

Translation:
“The Angel of Death exists everywhere and is present everywhere

Translation:
Look, Satan is present everywhere

Translation:
“By looking at the state of Satan and the Angel of Death, it is
proven that encompassing knowledge of everything on the Earth for the
Prophet is in opposition to the clear divine texts, without evidence,
and a false analogy. If it is not Shirk then which part of Faith is
it? Satan and the Angel of Death having this encompassing (knowledge)
is proven from the divine text. But according to which clear divine
text is it proven that the Prophet has encompassing knowledge, whereas
such a belief is against all of the divine texts and is tantamount to
Shirk
