Vision of an Israelite Prophet

نحمده ونصلى ونسلم على رسوله الكريم

اعوذ بالله السميع العليم من الشيطان اللعين الرجيم

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

On 5th September, 2015, I had a dream in which I was walking home while it was the darkness of night. Suddenly I began to float and ascend rapidly into the sky. Passing the clouds I was soon up in outer space. I continued to ascend until I reached another set of thick clouds. Finally, I reached what I beheld to be the Throne of Allah Himself, elevated above four white pillars. I saw seated before it an assembly of prophets who were clad in white garments and had thick black beards. I could also somewhat perceive Allah Himself seated on the Throne, but I averted my eyes from Him, though I perceived His Feet. It was at this point that I began to praise Him with the words:
سبحان الله. سبحان ذى الجبروت والملكوت والكبرياء والعظمة. سبوحٌ قدوسٌ ربّ الملائكته والروح
“Glory be to Allah! Glory be to the Lord of Might, Dominion, Majesty and Magnificence. Glorified! Holy! Lord of His Angels and the Spirit”
Although I saw this dream some years ago I still have vivid memories of some of the images, particularly, the image of one of the Prophets I beheld. He was standing upright and had an imposing appearance. I remember most his remarkable face which was very masculine and proud like an eagle. He had long, thick black hair reaching just above his shoulders. It was not simply black but exceedingly black, as was his beard, which was beautifully shaped and very dense. He also had a thick moustache, though it too was symmetrical. He was tall with a lovely brown complexion and was clothed in a white robe. A very handsome man in his prime, perhaps in his 30s. In the dream itself I was made aware that while this is one of the prophets he is not the Prophet Muhammad (sall Allahu alayhi wasallam). After I woke from this dream and ever since it has been put into my heart that the prophet I beheld and have memories of till this day was one of the ancient Israelite prophets, though his exact identity was never disclosed to me so it is futile to speculate on who exactly he was. However, everytime try to picture him from what I remember of that image I attain a reassurance of my faith and feel some goodness and comfort within me.
