Abu Hanifah was a Murji (Verdict of Imam Bukhari)

The eminent Imam and Amir ul Mu'mineen fil-Hadith, Muhammad b. Isma'il al-Bukhari (radiyallahu anhu) said regarding Abu Hanifah:

كَانَ مُرجِئًا، سَكَتُوا عنه، وعَنْ رَأيِهِ، وعَنْ حديثه
 
Translation: He (Abu Hanifah) was a Murji, they were silent regarding him, and regarding his opinion and his Hadith.
