أَنَّ أَبَا حَنِيفَةَ قَالَ : لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا عَبَدَ هَذِهِ النَّعْلَ يَتَقَرَّبُ بِهَا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَمْ أَرَ بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا.
It
is narrated that Abu Hanifah said: “If a man worshiped this shoe
seeking nearness to Allah by it, then I see no problem with that.”
And we seek
refuge in Allah
from such an obvious Shirk and Kufr, as pointed out by Sa'eed (one of
the narrators).
